File names should be unique, less than 20 characters in total, consisting of alphabetical or numerical characters without the use of symbols. It is acceptable to use underscore _ to represent a space (ASCII 32). Do not use spaces or dots at the end of file names.

Suffix the file name with ‘.pdf’ at the end of the 3DAPv2 PDF file for cross-platform compatibility.

For example, the following is acceptable: Acme_032000.pdf

Where media is accepted for the supply of digital advertising, CD is currently the preferred method.

Some magazine and newspaper publishers are only accepting digital ads if they have been sent through an Ad Delivery System such as Quickcut. For electronic transmission of digital advertising, please contact the relevant magazine publisher.

If using an email application to send the 3DAPv2 PDF file, use either UUENCODE or BASE64 encoding for the file attachment. Do not use MacBinary or Stuffit encoding on 3DAPv2 PDF files, as these are difficult to unencode on the Windows platform.
